Provider Rate Threshold
Each performance measure is calculated by determining the number of people who should have received a given service or screening (the denominator) and the number of people in the denominator who actually received a recommended health care service or screening (the numerator). The NYQA uses the NCQA provider rate threshold for denominator and numerator information available on the physician reports. However, a rate will only be calculated if the denominator represents 30 or more patients.
